I thought a lot of the video game series, SSX while making this one.
The environments in SSX capture a nice sense of scale and I wanted to
aim for that . Mine wasn't exactly getting the feeling I wanted but I
learned that I should scale the textures down a bit more to capture that
sense, and will make sure to do so in the future.
This mountain was probably the most fun to do out of all the
mountains! Learning how to do moonlight and the different tonal ranges
was critical to making this work. This really got me thinking of new
ideas for some future pieces!
